Welcome to Bethel! Tucked away on Drayton Street in the village of McClellanville, South Carolina is the original site of Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church.  Since 1867, Bethel has served as a beacon of light in the community.  Membership expansion prompted the construction of the current location on Society Road.  As the house of God, our purpose is to BE Thankful, be Holy, be Exceptional, and to be Loving.
